International students will be charged for Bachelors and Masters degrees. The new tuition fees for international students
2,770 euros per year for Bachelor’s (Licence) programmes
3,770 euros per year for Master’s programmes
380 euros per year for Doctorate (PhD) programmes – the same amount as for Europeans.
Note that the values above refer only to public universities; the cost of tuition at private universities can be higher. They generally range from 3,000 to 20,000 euros per year.
The government has also announced that it will triple the amount of scholarships on offer to international students. There are scholarships available through the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs and each country’s own French embassy.
