Objective

The Bangor Business School offering one year MBA Banking and Finance aims to develop student’s academic and managerial skills. An important objective is to provide relevant analytical training to familiarise participants with the latest strategic, managerial and industrial developments in the financial services industry.

This course provides a coherent analytical framework for the study of banking and financial developments from a management perspective.

We recognise that a thorough understanding of recent developments in banking and financial firm strategies, financial management, risk management, international financial markets, marketing strategies and performance evaluation are essential requirements for all those involved in financial sector activities.

Accreditation

This programme is accredited by CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).

Exemptions

Students who have completed the MBA in Banking and Finance will get CIMA exemptions.

Award

Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the Master of Business Administration in Banking & Finance from Bangor University, UK. This degree is identical to that awarded to on-campus students. Graduates are then allowed to use the title MBA after their names.
